The Jurassic Foundation, founded in 1998, is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to providing funding for research on dinosaur paleobiology. The Foundation awards modest research grants to qualified applicants from all over the world. The grant program is overseen by a Scientific Board of Directors consisting of four professional dinosaur paleontolgists. Funding for the Jurassic Foundation is derived primarily from donations provided by Amblin Entertainment and Universal Studios.
